This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom has limited space, and with the mobile desk, I will be able to create more room for student laboratory experiences. I have been slowly acquiring more furniture to reach my goal of a comfortable learning environment for all students. A mobile desk will allow me to eliminate my bulky "teacher desk", move around the room more easily. With students being on their Chromebook the majority of class, it is important for the teacher have access to the back of the classroom. This work station will help keep an eye on students as they complete their independent work on their Chromebooks.

Mobility and visibility as the teacher are super important to my teaching style!
