Help me give my students engaging supplemental materials to support our math curriculum as well as smelly markers and a whiteboard to make learning fun!
First grade is so much fun! I want to be sure my students have all the materials and fun seating they need to have a wonderful school year. We are learning so much, building social relationships and loving school!
My students are eager learners!
They are excited about school and all that we have to offer them. They are little, just six and seven years old, but the daily cognitive and social demands are higher than ever! I want to give my students every opportunity to succeed. I just need the right "tools!”
My Project
My students are excited about math! They are high achieving students who are looking for challenging activities. I teach 25 accelerated learners and I want to give them the materials they need to challenge themselves.
I hope to start guided math centers to reach each student at their math level and move them higher.
I plan to use the tabletop whiteboard to support my small group lessons. The dry erase markers will be used in my small group lessons when the students work on their own boards.
The materials from Teachers Pay Teachers are an amazing resource. They align exactly with my math curriculum supplied by my school, but they are fun and engaging activities (like games!). My students will work in small groups or individually to complete challenging math centers while I am leading small group lessons. When using the Teachers Pay Teachers materials, I know my students are getting the extra practice they need to make them strong mathematicians.
The Mr. Sketch markers would be another excellent way to keep my students engaged. These markers would be used for daily math activities. Thank you for your support!
