Help me give my students high interest chapter books to encourage their love of reading. My students are currently loving the Magic Treehouse books, as well as the Dogman and Captain Underpants series. They just can't get enough!
Our school district is highly diverse, with many cultures, languages, and religious backgrounds represented in every classroom. This makes for an amazing learning experience, not only for my students, but for myself as well!
My students come into our classroom full of enthusiasm for learning and growing together as a community.
They are eager to explore the world through literature, technology, and first-hand experiences. They are also very willing to learn and share their unique cultures and backgrounds with one another.
My Project
My students love reading! They especially love reading Magic Treehouse, Dogman, and Captain Underpants books. They ask daily when we can get the next book in the series, or the newest title in the set. Our current collection has been extremely well loved and could use some updating.
One of the best ways to foster a love of reading is to provide access to the books kids love to read.
Please help me accomplish this by replenishing and updating our current classroom library.
The benefits of reading are infinite. Not only does reading help my students keep their minds sharp by building their vocabulary and improving their understanding, reading also is simply an enjoyable thing to do. The books provided by this project will help my students develop this important lifelong habit.
