My students walk into our classroom everyday full of life, ready to learn and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.
I teach at a Title One School in South Carolina where one hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can, so they can be successful one day.
My Project
This project is all about creating a creative learning environment that the kids will love to come to. Students spend more than five hours a day, twenty-five hours a week in their classroom.
Students need to be able to work in an inviting, warm classroom.
This project will help me make that happen. Teachers spend a lot of time and money in decorating their classroom for students to enjoy. All of the fabrics and paint will help to create the existing bulletin boards and hardware in the classroom with a fresh new look. I will start transforming the classroom now so that my students will get to enjoy it now and take part in the process!
