My Students

My students are creative, curious and willing to learn. They come from large and small families. We are a low economic district. Most of the parents work full time jobs and we do not have the money for a teachers aide. Kindergarten is a fun energetic group that need choices and interactive learning opportunities. My students love to try new things. I love that each day is a new start and desire to grow and learn. This will be a great year with your help.

My Project

Flexible seating will make a difference in our classroom because it allows for more movement. Students will have a variety of options for seating. We need a low table to work at and the choice of being able to sit on the floor in the low chairs. The bean bag chairs will provide more comfortable choices for my students. Kindergarten students move around a lot. They need this movement and they need a variety of options for how they can sit or stand while learning. It is my hope to provide movement, help them focus and be engaged in learning. Please help us reach our goal!
