Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have a diverse group of students. My students are some of the most loving, persistent, and hardworking students I know. They are the reason I can't wait to come to school every day!

We are a Title I school in rural Florida.

State funding is at an all-time low, making it difficult to get the resources we need for our classrooms. Despite all of this, we do have exciting things happening in our classrooms every day.

My students work very hard to achieve their goals. In our classroom, we work together and help each other be the best that we can be!

My Project

My students need flexible seating options so they can choose a comfortable place to learn that is best for them. The new table and chairs will help accomplish this goal!

Not all students learn by sitting still in a desk all day!

We need to meet the needs of these students!

Flexible seating has been proven to help students with learning by creating an authentic work environment that helps them focus. Thank you for considering a contribution to this project! Flexible seating options give students a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them and helps them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking.
