Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come to my music class excited to learn and to make music every day. They are motivated, creative and passionate about music and technology. Through creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration, we are developing their musical skills and discovering their musical talents.
I strive to give my students every tool needed to help them to discover their love and passion for music, not only through using instruments, but also through using technology to create their own music.
My Project
My students are a diverse group of learners, each with his or her own talents and ways of learning. But many of them need movement in order to allow them to focus.
In order to give my students room to create, move and make music, we currently do not use student desks.
I feel that by giving my students the option to use flexible seating, such as the Surf Portable Lap Desks, it will allow them to feel more comfortable while listening to, creating and making music.
The Surf Portable Lap Desks will be used in music class for students to compose, make and perform music.
These portable desks will give my students a comfortable workspace to collaborate and create together!
