My school is a Title I school, meaning the children are from low-income families and make up at least 40 percent of enrollment. Around 70% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch and over 50% of the students are English Language Development students.
Last school year, my students learned from their homes for more than 100 days through distance learning.
They have been wonderful students even in our world pandemic. They are a curious and lively group.
My Project
I would love to get more Cricut accessories, like more vinyl sheets and a Cricut EasyPress Mini, to organize my classroom by labeling the classroom library, drawers, trays, and more.
The Cricut will help my students learn various classroom words in an organized labeled classroom.
I will use the various colored vinyl sheets for the recently Donor Choose funded Cricut machine to label different parts of the room. I will also personalize the student's items with Cricut label stickers.
With the Cricut EasyPress Mini and HTV Vinyl, I will be able to create personalized t-shirts, bags, and other gifts I could give to my students.
