Help me give my students meaningful projects to solve real-life problems faced around the globe. Global Challenges Project-Based STEM Kits teach inventive solutions to real world problems like the need for alternative energy, water shortages, and oil spills.
My fifth grade students are future scientists, tech innovators, engineers, artists, and mathematicians who are eager to change the world. We are a small university town with a sizable ELL population as well as a Title I assisted school filled with students who are eager to take ownership of their learning and build 21st-century skills.
They are critical thinkers and hands-on learners who are eager to learn how to solve the problems of tomorrow .

My Project
STEAM projects require students to systematically think through problems, applying the information they learn along the way about technology and engineering to figure out the best solutions.
The Global Challenges kit will help my students investigate many of our fifth grade standards in a unique and engaging way.
Students will design ways to help minimize human impact on the earth while researching global freshwater shortages, disastrous oil spills, and the need for alternative energy sources.
After researching each of these topics, students will be able to use the design process to design, test, and streamline solutions as they sharpen their problem-solving skills.
