My Students
Working in a Title 1 school gives me a chance to inspire and encourage students to love learning. More then 90% of the students in my school district come from poverty situations, and receive 100% free breakfast/lunch. When I see the look of excitement on my students faces when they are shown the endless possibilities of what they can learn, it makes me want to provide them with exposure to all types of learning! They may not have high expectations when they first come to school, but throughout the year they are shown the endless possibilities for their future!
My Project
My wonderful energetic 2nd grade students have so much energy that it’s hard to help those wandering eyes. To get the best and most accurate assessments they need to show what they know on their own papers. Using the privacy shields for each of my students allows them time to focus on their work without interruption from students around them. Having a separate desk seat that they can sit on floor will help those that get anxious or antsy at their desks during assessments.
Providing students with privacy at their desks and alternative seating allows them to do their BEST work!
Please help my students accel at their pace not the pace of others work.
