My students need Hokki stools as an alternative seating option. This will allow them to move around while working so they can concentrate on their school work.

My Students

I teach second grade in an awesome school district. My students have varied levels of learning. Our classroom is a very inviting atmosphere where all students can learn in their own way! We are a Title 1 school with the majority of our students on free and reduced lunches.

Each student is unique and special in their own way and I am amazed by their positive attitudes towards learning!

They are very kind to their classmates, loving to their teacher, and respectful to everyone they meet.

My Project

Students will use the HOKKI stools in my classroom for flexible seating. These stools will work great for students who need extra "wiggle room" during their class work. So many academic demands are put on second graders right now. I want to do whatever I can to give them the tools to be successful in my classroom.

Having Hokki stools in our classroom will give students the opportunity to move and focus at the same time.

When students can't sit still, they are not able to give their full attention to their learning. Flexible seating will give them that opportunity.
