My students are fantastic, young people with unlimited potential. They care about their learning and work hard to do their best. They come with a variety of learning needs and challenges, but also come with amazing gifts waiting to be uncovered and shared. It is important for them to see how what we are learning in class applies to the real world.

My Project
My students are very interested in learning about money: earning it, saving it, spending wisely, and investing it. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of nonfiction books available for students to read about this topic.
For my project, I am adding a variety of titles about money to our class library.
These books cover topics including the stock market, business and money making ideas, and investing. Students will be able to self-select the books that interest them to read indivudually. They will also have the opportunity to share what they have learned with the other students in the class with brief oral presentations.
