Imagine holding an iPad in your hands, composing your own music using Garageband, and then being able to take it home to practice your creation on your clarinet over the weekend!! Without a printer, this can't happen.
Our students are high-achieving, hard-working, music-loving students.
Our classroom nurtures a love of music and the arts, and we strive to use technology to help us do that. We play music, sing music, write music, study music, and listen to music. Our students use technology to help us do these things.
My Project
Currently, the printer in our classroom is outdated and often jams. It's over seven years old, prints only in black and white, and is outdated with the technology available at our school. This new printer would help us print the music that our students write, read, and study and do so wirelessly. Additionally, we would use it to print pictures of the students at their many performances. The kids get so excited to see themselves on the walls!!
Technology can help us do so many wonderful things these days - but only if all the necessary elements are present.
Without a working printer we cannot take advantage of all the technology available to us.
