Molecules and the Microscopic!

Help me give my students incredible molecule building sets and protozoa slide sets. These materials will help my students grasp the abstract concepts we are studying in science.

My Students

My students are part of an innovative program where the focus is building a community that will support each and every learner. Students in our Montessori community are encouraged to consider their place in the world and how they can be a contributing global citizen.

My students need hands-on materials used to integrate their studies in environmental science.

Children learn best when presented with multi-sensory experiences that help them build their knowledge. These materials will allow the students to explore each concepts taught. This exploration will lead to a stronger understanding, and desire to learn more about the world around them and their environment.

Children in our community are encouraged to follow their interests. Having materials available to allow this is imperative in a child-centered classroom aimed to support children as they investigate the world around them.

My Project

My students need hands-on material that will help them gain a greater understand of the concepts we are learning about in science. These topics include atoms, molecules, and microscopic life. By providing the students with models and access to real life examples of microscopic life, students will build a greater understanding of the world around them and the topics being taught.

Children have a difficult time conceptualizing the very small things that exist around them.

Given these tools, children can expand their wonder about the world. Students who are inspired through scientific wonder, will seek knowledge and become lifelong learners.
