My students need post in notes, markers, sheet protectors, pipe cleaners and more to be able to practice what they learn through hands on activities. These supplies will allow students to apply, reflect, and learn classroom materials.
Do you remember reading from your textbook and taking notes day in and day out? My students need to be able to apply and practice what they are learning through hands-on activities.
My Ag students are excited to learn more than their textbook has to offer.
Students who are engaged are students who are growing and developing their minds and are learning. The potential to reach students through hands-on activities is significantly higher than through other educational methods such as lecture. Our community is small, but very supported.
My Project
Students love playing with play dough no matter how old they are! Using play dough, students create diagrams such as the digestive system and cell structures. This activity encourages students to think about the system as a whole and how it works together.
The pony beads and pipe cleaners are used to teach wiring during our electricity unit in Ag Construction. In animal science, I use the supplies to teach the divisions that take place during meiosis and mitosis.
The sheet protectors, duck tape, and dry erase markers are supplies to make personal sized dry erase boards. Which can be used frequently in any of my classes, especially my middle school exploratory classes.
Lastly, the post-it notes are used for a variety of review activities for all classes and can be used for guided reading activities as well.
Your donation will help enhance my Ag classroom and get kids actively involved and engaged in what they are learning about.
Thank you in advance! Your donation and support are greatly appreciated!!
