I teach 22 bright and eager to learn kindergarten students who love learning about the world outside our community.
My students are fascinated with technology, however we currently do not have the devices to allow them to access enriching content related activities to enhance their learning.
My students come from all kinds of backgrounds, but they all come with the ability to learn and be successful!
I hope my students leave my classroom every day knowing they are loved, safe, and special.
My Project
Apple's iPads are powerful tools for classrooms. They engage students and improve education efficiency and standards through websites and apps. iPads allow students to watch educational videos and play interactive games at their level.
My students with ADHD will greatly benefit from having an Apple iPad, with case and protection plan, in the classroom for many reasons.
My students love learning with technology. In a classroom that is lacking in technological devices, this iPad would be a wonderful asset to have in my classroom. It will allow students to complete online assignments as well as use educational apps to enhance learning. It will allow them to be flexible and can be used anywhere in the room.
Having tablets would be perfect for students to use when completing collaborative assignments. This iPad would be used daily and the students would greatly benefit from using it. It would allow my students with ADHD to have more independent work time and provide extra engaging activities, as well as modify content for students with special learning needs.
Students with ADHD focus better and stay on task with technology. I have discovered that it is a great way to challenge students on all levels. The iPad will help my modify my lessons to provide enrichment as well as remedial lessons.
Technology really engages and excites my students, especially the ones with ADHD, to want to learn more. This would be a very beneficial added use of technology to my classroom and my students.
