My Students

The freshman class consists of students that are eager to learn through hands-on and lab-based work. Their eagerness to learn shows in their excitement as they tackle new challenges. Covid has really causes them to become so independent that hands on learning is important to encourage the collaboration once more. Our students are already at a disadvantage living in a rural area. They don't have as many opportunities as other areas do. This project could really help them see some of the any things that they can do allowing them to explore all kinds of career options in this ever changing technology based society.

Our students have a passion to learn by doing and are at a disadvantage currently due to missing important equipment to help them grow and learn from the hands-on manipulation of science concepts.

With the use of this project, students will be able to explore further scientific concepts, therefore, opening the application of skills used in various careers.

My Project

In our science classes, we talk a great deal about topics that the students can't see with the naked eye so we model them. Being the age of technology, we use digital modeling for them to "sculpt" the topic at hand.

With 3D printers, we are providing them with tangible models that they created themselves.

This will allow them to see aspects that they would otherwise not be able to see. For them to see the "fruits of their labor" will be such a huge reward and motivate their learning encouraging them to dive deep into the topic.
