My Students

Our students are from a small rural school district and community. The public school they attend is one of the smallest left in the state.

Students work together daily as a learning family and take on responsibilities which may not be typical for the school environment.

They assist teachers, staff and the community throughout the year without a grade or compensation. It is part of who they are and the values they hold. While students are willing to volunteer and assist others they often are without some basic resources they need for their own education.

My Project

Often students have assignments or lessons which need to be completed after school time. While most students have phones, many do not have access to a laptop or device to work efficiently on assignments.

Our intent is to provide the resources students need in an easy to use manner.

The mobile laptop bag will be available for any student who needs to complete work outside of school time.

They will be able to check out the mobile bag at anytime to use for non-school time work. They will also be able to use the laptop to work on their online courses outside of school if needed.
