My Students

My students are part of the broadcast and digital media arts program where they can learn skills necessary to enter the workforce in the industry of television, video, and film production. The majority of students come from low income, low socioeconomic status families.

Providing my students with real world, experienced-based opportunities is key to sparking the creativity and inspiration they each possess!

Digital and Media Arts can serve as an avenue of success for students who may not fit a traditional classroom model of learning!

My Project

The iPad Pro would be the central component used by students as they learn the skills of mobile video production. Combined with classroom iPads and mobile devices students will experience multi-camera video production projects and live stream events to parents, staff, and community members who are vested in the efforts of my students! The iPad Pro would serve as the "video switcher" and the center of control for all our mobile productions.

Giving students opportunities to engage in an authentic mobile production environment is critical to developing the needed skills to compete in an ever-changing world of technology!

Using mobile technology is relevant to the demands of today's fast-paced world!
