My classroom will soon be filled with twenty-one to twenty-two curious and energetic Kindergarten students! They will be ready to learn and explore in an environment that is conducive for learning!
Our school is located in a community whose growth has exploded over the last few years.
Our surroundings are constantly growing and changing. We have a diverse student population that truly makes our school an outstanding place above the rest!
The school year will be starting before we know it, and I'm so eager to see what wonderful adventures lie ahead of us!
My Project
Flexible seating was implemented in our classroom two years ago. I could not be more thrilled to report that it has been a huge success. Not only have the students been successful with the resources, but they have also been extremely respectful and careful with our non-traditional seating.
The donations to this project will help complete flexible seating options such as ball chairs, stools and cushions for all of the tables in our classroom.
We currently have a rotation system in place where students have multiple opportunities to utilize the variety of seats provided. One of our favorites is the bounce ball chair, of which we only have two currently.
I am looking forward to another successful year with happy students who are able to move and learn!
