My Students

My students are the leaders of tomorrow. They are bright and enthusiastic learners who are eager to explore the world around them. Our school is located in the South Bronx. My students overcome many obstacles to succeed in a challenging environment.

My Project

We face an uncertain school year ahead with federal, state, and city budget cuts. I would like to give my students the opportunity to fundraise for school events. They will be in charge of securing the supplies, stocking the inventory, promoting their fundraiser, marketing their product, and setting up their stand. This mobile cart will give them the flexibility to position their stand at optimal points.

Financial literacy is an important life skill for my students to acquire.

Fundraising offers a fun and organic way for my students to learn these vital skills. They will have a vested interest in these projects.
