Help me give my students a mobile library cart, book bins, and educational games. This will provide the opportunity to keep our young students engaged in an effective and socially distant method.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We have two kindergarten classrooms and two 1st grade classrooms with 83 students (that number continues to grow every week!). Despite the fact that over 91% of the children qualify for free or reduced lunch, and the school is over half English Language Learners, the school has earned an "A" grade on the state report card. Our school is an urban neighborhood school with a close knit community. However due to COVID-19 our school has implemented online learning for the beginning portion of this year.
Despite their situations, our students are resilient, strong, and eager to learn.
We are a neighborhood school in which the majority of students still walk to school. Having resources that we can have readily available for our students while still social distancing would encourage more engagement and eagerness to learn from our students. These resources will also make a huge impact on their learning and assist in producing productive, highly engaged learners.
My Project
The closest library that we have is currently closed due to COVID-19 so the students cannot access reading materials. We want our mobile library to include diverse and bilingual books that this children and families will be able to check out the way they would at the public library.
Our kindergarten and first grade students are amazingly resilient in this time of virtual learning.
Our school is next door to a park which gave us the idea to also have children check out educational games that they can play with their siblings or families. These interactive games will give the opportunity for hands on material for our students and their families to provide another method of learning.
