Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I would like a mobile book center for my classroom. This big, rolling unit stores over 300 storybooks, including over-sized picture books. It will make it easy for my kindergarten students to peruse the classroom collection and make free reading choices. I teach 20 Kindergartners in a very low socio-economic area where over 90% of the students receive free or reduced lunch and over 60% of my students are English Language Learners. I have limited space to display the books that I have and they always seem to be in disarray. This is something my classroom would use for years. Young minds love to read and I know this mobile book center would enhance their experience.
