My Project

I would love to give my students Mo Willems’ hilarious books about frantic, silly, and hilarious Elephant, Piggie, and Pigeon. Mo Willems has a special way to reach children and his books bring joy, smiles, and laughter as they beg me to read them again and again. Through simple language, he reaches kids in a unique way and instills a love of books.

I would be thrilled to have Mo Willems’ books in our classroom library!

Students would take great pride in being able to read the book on their own and share their joy with friends and family. Books are also excellent resources for addressing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and what better way to do it than with Gerald, Piggie, and Pigeon who go through a range of emotions in every book.

Books are not only for gaining knowledge but they can be character-shaping and life changing! Please help bring Mo Willem to life to my amazing, eager to read first graders!
