This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My algebra students are freshmen and sophomores who want to succeed in algebra and earn the high school credits they need to graduate. Though they come from different backgrounds and have varying math experiences, the desire to succeed is what they all have in common.

The earbuds we hope to receive will foster student success through the personalized instruction that comes from allowing students to receive individual time with me, while others work online.

All students will have an opportunity to receive great instruction and work at their readiness level.
