My Students
I have 90 bright seventh graders who come to school each day ready to learn. This group of 7th graders is laser-focused on improving their understanding of math concepts. Many families have been together for years at previous schools and I want them to continue growing their learning together.
These students come in with a growth mindset, knowing that learning may not be easy, but it is worth it and that they will learn.
I want to give them the tools to learn as best they can!
My Project
Students in my class love showing their work on graph paper and practicing math on white boards. Having Expo dry erase markers will help students show work that will not stay permanently and is easy to erase. They can write on their desks and erase their work when they finish.
When my students do not have to worry about finding a pencil, they can focus on their learning.
This is why I am requesting the Seagull Pencils Pack. Something my students love is playing Kendama, which is a Japanese skill toy which promotes hand eye coordination, a growth mindset and community building.
Each topic we cover in math class has a project students do to tie our learning to the real world. Having Riverside Poster Paper will allow students to not have to buy them on their own, and can use their Crayola Markers to show their full creativity.
When students get sick or need to clean a mess, it helps to have a pack of Kleenex ready so they do not need to make a trip all the way to the bathroom to blow their nose or get something to clean with. This helps keep the flow of learning in the classroom.
