My Students

Creating eager readers is my goal as a primary classroom teacher. Finding ways to captivate these readers can sometimes be challenging. Offering my students a modern technology for reading will definitely capture their eagerness.

I teach a first/second grade multi-age,inclusion class.

Our school is part of a large, urban district where resources, especially new technologies, are often scarce. My students are intrigued with technology and I am working towards creating a classroom that offers them many technological opportunities.

My Project

The Nookcolor Readers are a perfect technology for my young students. I have students who are reading at many different levels and these readers can offer them books they need at their levels. My beginning readers can select their favorite chapter books. With the Nook color we'll be able to download books from the public library, purchase learning applications and books. All of these resources at our fingertips!

You can help me prepare my students by offering them the technologies of today.
