My students come from diverse backgrounds. 90% qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Many of my students, as well as their parents, speak English as a second language. They come from homes where the parents work hard to support their children.
My students come to school ready and eager to learn.
They are a community within a classroom. They help each other with activities, centers, assignments, and projects. They know when to work together and when to work independently.
My Project
My students are amazing and love to learn about the world. They try to be successful in everything they do in the classroom. The resources I am looking to purchase will be practice resources for the FSA, guided reading groups and literacy/math centers.
Using supplemental resources helps my students succeed in the classroom.

3rd graders have to take the state test (FSA) for the first time. They need practice for the skills that they will see on the test. I want my students to feel confident with the skills they have learned in the classroom.
