Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help us stay organized as we transition to a new classroom and new schedule! My students and I need storage solutions for two classes' worth of papers and supplies.
My students attend a low-income elementary school in Oklahoma.
Third grade is an important year that will set them up for success in the upper elementary grades and beyond. It is my job to ensure that they master grade-level objectives and develop the attitudes and work habits necessary to achieve at high levels and reach their future goals!
My Project
This year we are transitioning to a departmentalized schedule, meaning students will switch classes for reading, math, science, and social studies. Organization is the key to making our new schedule work! I am requesting two rolling storage carts and a variety of magnetic organizers to keep our classroom supplies neat and easily accessible during lessons. Additionally, we need a dry erase easel to use for instruction and for posting important announcements and instructions throughout the day. Finally, I am requesting 10 privacy partitions to help my students focus during independent work and assessments. These resources will help ensure that our classroom runs smoothly and productively.
This project will help my students and I make the best use of our time in class by ensuring that all papers and supplies are organized and accessible.
It is crucial that we maximize our learning time in order to master third grade math!
