Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

This is a first and second grade split classroom. The class focuses on second grade curriculum with accommodations for the first graders. While this work can be challenging, every student works extremely hard. This bunch of students is incredibly fun-loving and silly. They challenge me to do my best and be better every single day. They deserve the world.

My Project

Quite a few of my students have so much going on at home that takes precedence over school. Some of my students lack basic supplies such as pencils, erasers, and notebooks. By donating to this project, you would help these students not have to worry about whether or not they have the basic supplies that they need. I also have students with ADHD and the fidget bands would help them stay seated and not interrupt class with outbursts. The bands would help them practice self-control as well as serving as a calming agent for them.
