Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

For most, if not all of my students, school is a safe sanctuary. They come from families at the poverty level, broken homes, and have already faced some form of traumatic experience. With all of this my students also move from school to school throughout the year. The twenty students, I started with will not be the same students I end the year with, and because of this I work very hard to provide them a safe, welcoming, and comfortable classroom to come to every day.

My Project

Help our classroom finish the year strong! These materials will help keep our students healthy, give us new outside toys, and give us new books to read and learn from!

With a huge importance of not sharing materials these items will help us do that and keep us clean and sanitized!

Some of the items on my wish list will give me the ability to create individual activities for each student to use in the classroom and to take home if needed. The others will bring new items to our recess time and keep us germ free!
