Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students will create drawings or a poster that represent their family values and important aspects of their identity. The markers, posters, sticky notes, and pencils will facilitate the artistic representation of their family and identity.
In the second part of the project, the students will create a positive Loteria card of one of their family members.
The intention is for students to highlight the qualities of that individual and presented them to the class. It is extremely important to show appreciation and respect to our family and elders.
