Students in my classroom would greatly benefit from the implementation of more technology into our daily instruction. iPads promote inquiry and allow students to research and explore different concepts.
I have a wonderful group of diverse students.
The 27 students in my classroom show their enthusiasm for learning on a daily basis. They are all unique with individual personalities and learning styles. They enjoy interacting with technology and trying new applications. They are hard-working and challenge their thinking. Our students attend a public, neighborhood school. My students come from a variety of different backgrounds, which is always celebrated. We encourage students to share their diverse backgrounds with each other.
My Project
My students will use the iPads on a regular basis. The implementation of more technology, like iPads, will allow students to explore concepts related to our units of inquiry. With iPads, they will be able to generate questions based on their individual inquiries and research to find the answers. After exploring and reaching an answer, they can share their new knowledge with their classmates. Students also participate in literacy and math centers during the school day. Therefore, during this time, they will use applications to develop their reading and mathematical skills.
The iPads will be a wonderful addition to our classroom.
I try to incorporate technology as much as possible because it actively engages students. iPads will allow students to expand their knowledge across all subject areas. Your donation will truly have an impact on the students in our classroom.
