My students are a wonderful and exciting group of boys and girls in an ICT (integrated collaborative teaching) classroom. This means that forty percent of my students are in special education, and the rest are in general education.
We are a Title One school and work hard to ensure that everyone learns and succeeds.
I want them to have everything they need to make their school year exciting, fun, productive, and successful throughout the entire year.
My Project
Now that the students are back in the building, social emotional learning has become vital to ensuring that all students are ready for the day in and day out of school in every way. SEL (social emotional learning) has been important to ensuring that all kids are emotionally strong and able to come to school each day and feel safe and secure in the school community. Teaching our students how to stay positive and be confident is one way to do this. These workbooks and coloring books have amazing activities that will provide them with amazing affirmations that will help them to develop confidence and provide them with Social Emotional wellness throughout the school year. This is vital to ensuring that they are ready to come back to the school community and are ready to learn.
