Help me give my students Yoga mats and books for the chance to calm down, slow down, and learn mindfulness amidst a busy day.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My class is comprised of 16 4-year-old students who thrive with active learning. They come mainly from low income situations and 11 of my 16 children speak Spanish at home. Through outdoor exploration, center choices, and guided experiences my students are flourishing in their social, emotional, and academic skills. Their smiles light up the room, and the giggles as they walk through finger paint (a la Pete the Cat), run around collecting leaves outside, and listening to a puppet story are infectious. My students are the only Pre-K class at our school, and they bring joy to all who come in contact with them.
My students love to explore, move, and create. Through daily lessons on social-emotional skills my students have been keying into their feelings, what makes them feel certain ways, and how to evoke "comfortable feelings" versus "uncomfortable feelings."
We have been using yoga as a way to calm down before rest time, but so far we've had to practice on the floor.
The students love it, but adding kid friendly yoga mats to the time would make it that much more special. The yoga books will facilitate an independent choice time activity where the students may practice on their own.
I have already seen changes in the way my students handle frustration and upset in the classroom. This will continue to foster a positive mindfulness in my students.
