Help me give my students a clear and defined carpet space during our whole group instruction time.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My Pre-K students are so eager to learn! I want to create academic experiences that fill them with joy and motivation. Every activity we do is threaded with the idea that children are wired for learning.
Albert Einstein said," Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think." I want to inspire the young minds in my classroom to do just that.
I teach in a school that has been identified as low socioeconomic. Poverty has many faces, but it does not define the limits of what a child can learn. My students have dreams and goals. They are strong and enduring. Although the challenges are many, bridging the gap between despair and hope is my highest calling as an educator.
No matter where children come from, high poverty does not have to equal low outcome. Your donation will give my students the extra push they need to succeed.
My students need a classroom rug that provides individual spaces during our whole group instruction time. Classroom rugs help keep students organized, and are an essential part of building a caring classroom community. Having a space for each child will ensure that more energy will go into teaching rather than directing and redirecting behavior problems and reminding students where to sit. The rug I have picked out provides a clear space for each student so that optimum learning can be achieved through our core subject areas. The rug also consists of natural tone colors which can be calming for students with special needs.
