This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Greeting from our high school where our motto is "Begin with the end in mind." We are located in the Mississippi Delta. I realize that because of the rural area we live in that all students need to allow their creative minds to continue to develop. We are a 9-12 high school with about 265 students total.
As this generation becomes less patient they need something to occupy their minds.
My students are curious and dream about life outside the delta. All students should be creative and have the materials to do so.
My Project
The items I chose for this project are just waiting for the next big inventor from the Mississippi Delta. It will allow my students to be creative and design the next big ideal. The Cricut machine will be housed in the Library Media Center, which is the hub of the school.
The students will be able to design and create anything their minds can visualize.
By my students having the opportunity to bring to fruition what they visualize, it can have a great impact on their future endeavors. Their learning experience will be more interesting and their dreams will become a reality.
