Each and every day, my students keep my passion for teaching alive and well. These kids bring so much joy, liveliness, humor, challenge, personality, growth and reward into my life and our community. I will always feel like I want to do more and be more for them. This incredible class of 16 students deserve the very best resources to support their blossoming skills and interests. My Project
The long and short of it is that our classroom book collection could use an update! As a teacher, it is critical that I am exposing my students to a rich, diverse, and memorable collection of books that help grow their understanding of our world. From natural habitats to 'kindness is power' themes, it is my ever-bearing goal to showcase the wonderful world of reading.
Books in this Donor's Choose collection provide important illustrations and vocabulary for several domains of development, especially for the world of science and cultural diversity -- two subjects which our historically under-served community will grow from generation after generation.
