My students need an leveled library to be able to access books that they can read independently on their reading level. They need white boards, used in both small group and whole group.

My Students
My students are in need of basic classroom necessities for the 2018-2019 school year. I will be going into my third year of teaching but my first time teaching in the Denver Public School System and would like the ability to ensure a very successful year for my new kindergarten babies. My school is a high needs school, with 93% of our students qualifying for free and reduced price lunch.
Along with being in a low income district, many of my students are English for Speakers of Other Languages Learners (ESOL).
My ESOL students struggle with communication skills and academic achievement, still come to school, work hard, and do their best no matter what obstacles they face.
On top of facing economic challenges, many of them are also challenged everyday to think and learn in two languages. I hope that by showing my students that I care, they will continue to grow and reach their goals we set together.
My Project
In Kindergarten, students are getting the foundation of learning how to read. Part of fostering this learning is having an large library with texts enabling students to read on their level as they grow.
My students have show tremulous growth with the listening center and tablets that have been donated to us.
I would like this success to continue which is why I am asking for proper headphones for my students to continue accessing these resources. My ESOL students often struggle with listening and comprehension skills. Our listening stations, reading stations, iStations, and math centered stations are huge factor in my students from previous years growth. At these stations, students will be able to listen to stories, listen to audio conversations to boost their listening and speaking confidence, and read online books.
Please help me with my transition to a new school in a new state so that I can continue the success and phenomenal growth I have been seeing in my classroom.
