Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This group of students have improved tremendously within the last few months. Most of them started as first-timers and when you hear them, they sound as if them have been playing for a while. The 16 inch drum heads can be used on additional tenor drums and the sticks are used by those who do not have there own. This material will allow these students to each have the material needed rather than share or switch out. This can also improve the time spent to learn more because we will have right amount of instruments (drums) for each student.
