My Project

In Mythology class, we'll be reading and analyzing folklore from all over the world.

To demonstrate a deep understanding of these important stories, I want to challenge my students to find allusions and archetypes in contemporary literature.

I want students to recognize a trickster when they see one in film, like Marvel's Loki, and know what to expect from the petty Greek gods when they appear in another text.

These books weave the folklore we will study into rich, engaging storytelling. I know these books will hook the attention of even reluctant readers.
