Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our class is a diverse group of unique individuals who come together to learn. Despite the many economic and personal challenges the children face, they come to school with the spirit and determination to learn. The majority of our students come from low-income households and shelters near the area.

My students are curious and inquisitive individuals who thrive when challenged with appropriate curriculum and learning materials.

All children should have access to curriculum-enhancing materials no matter their backgrounds. Your donation will truly make the difference in their lives.

My students are very motivated to learn and I am very proud to be their teacher. I hope to inspire them to become successful someday by instilling in them the value of hard work, patience, kindness, and perseverance.

My Project

The pandemic changed the way we teach and how students complete their work. Right now, we use Chromebooks during in-person and remote learning. Since most of the my students struggle using the track pad on the laptop, the best way to help them is to get a mouse. Study shows using a mouse improves eye and hand coordination.

The mouse will improve productivity and will be very helpful to students with limited dexterity.

By using the mouse instead of the track pad, my students will be able to independently complete their assignments successfully.
