My Students
I am a second grade ESL teacher in a Dual Language program. This school year, my content area is English and Math. Most of my students have been learning English and Spanish since pre-kindergarten! Many of my students' native language is Spanish.
My students work diligently every day to learn to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.
I would like to provide new math manipulatives for my ESL and English native students. My second grade mathematicians need new math manipulatives for their busy hand and minds!
My Project
As a second grade teacher, it is my responsibility to provide my students with manipulatives for learning. Most of our math manipulatives have been greatly loved. Many pieces are lost, broken, or worn out.
My mathematicians have fun learning with math centers, games, and manipulatives!
They will use these items daily during our allotted math time. While some students are in math stations, I can work with other students who need small group interventions with their math skills.
Please, help provide these items for my students to use for the rest of this school year. Lakeshore Learning has great items ready for our classroom!
