This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My at-risk students are 6th, 7th, and 8th grade highly motivated learners who overcome anything in their paths to achieve great things in the classroom.
I have the privilege of being the health teacher for these inspiring young people, helping them to learn about themselves and their community.
My Project
My students need to be able to stay in school without having to worry about smelling bad and being called names while in school. The students need to feel like they belong to the school and enjoy being at the school every day.
Fresh-smelling deodorants and minty breath will allow the students not to be bullied while in school.
The attitudes of the students will improve allowing them to be successful while in school. This will allow for the success of the students who will move on to the next grade level.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
