My Students

My students are extremely hardworking Bronx kids from Morris Heights! Every day, they persevere through the battles of not only middle school but through life with minimal complaints! They work hard, they're funny, inquisitive, they want to be challenged and they deserve a quality education no matter where they live! My school values consistency but also supports and develops teachers so they can be the best for kids. This place is a second home to me and for all of my students.

My Project

The first annual 303 women's conference will have a lifelong impact on my students lives as they will learn about diverse careers and college life from women from an array of backgrounds. However, as a Title I school we still need lots of help with things like lunch and supplies to make this event a success. Chipotle is a healthy and filling alternative from what my students normally eat and would be a huge treat for many of them who will attend this event for the first time. This project will also help me greatly as Chipotle is one of the few catering companies that delivers!
