This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at my school come from all over the county because we are a school without boundary. If they can get here, they can attend. This makes our school unique and diverse. Students come from different backgrounds and are at different academic levels. Our job is to get them on grade level and above and more importantly to instill a love of learning within a safe environment where values matter. We are firm believers in character education and well-rounded students.

My Project

I am asking for a hands-on Smoking and Alcohol Prevention Kit for my middle school students, which contains the following: Inflatable Lungs Maintenance Kit, BioQuest Inflatale Lungs Kit, Simulated Smoker’s Lungs, Giant Mr. Gross Mouth, Teeth in Tobacco Juice, Clever-Catch Tobacco Ball, and Fatal Vision Goggles.

Now more than ever, teenagers need health education in order to make good choices that may eventually not only change their lives but save their lives.

I would like this kit to use every year during Red Ribbon Week to teach drug and alcohol prevention in a manner that is engaging, effective, and memorable.
