Middle School Math Basic Necessities

Help me give my students some basic school supplies needed to be more interactive with learning math. We are a low income charter school and lack many of the basic necessities. Thank you.

My Project

My students learn best when they have the proper supplies. Right now we are struggling to keep basic school supplies in our classroom, which makes it hard on them. The calculators will be helpful with checking our answers. We are getting into more complicated math and having the ability to check their work as they go will prove beneficial.

The other school supplies will be used to create math art projects.

We will soon be getting into geometry studying angles, so the cardstock will be used to create geometric designs and cut them out. We will measure the angles of our triangles.

In 5th grade we are working heavily on fractions, so the fraction cards will give them a visual of how to multiply them.
