I am the coach of the middle school girls' soccer team at my K-8 school. Middle school sports isn't that big in my county so all of the funding comes from donations and sponsorships. We are an arts school so just having girls come out for the team is huge!
Our girls work really hard and deserve quality equipment.
My Project
Our goal is to be able to get fully funded so we can have equipment that is solely for the girls' soccer team. We are currently borrowing small cones from the PE department and have to return them after each practice. With our own equipment, we will be able to have good quality practices and a successful season without the hassle of returning equipment. We will also be able to work on more specific drills if we get smaller goals and more equipment than just cones and goals.
I can't wait for our season to get started and see what the girls will be able to accomplish!
