Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am going to be teaching a group of amazing, fun and unique 7th graders. As their 7th grade ELA teacher, I need a comfortable spot to do my work at (even laying on the floor). My students also need a comfortable spot to get their work done, whether it be at a table or in a quiet corner.
No matter what these students go through, they stay positive and work extremely hard to meet their goals.
They deserve any opportunities that we are able to give to them!

How do you like to learn? I know I need to feel comfortable and also need a comfortable place to do my work. My students feel the same way!
Kids that are comfortable in their classroom environment will have more positive outcomes!
I am incorporating flexible seating in my classroom for my middle school students.
With these flexible seating resources, my students will have multiple options of comfortable places in my classroom. They can sit on the carpet and quietly read in the corner that will be surrounded by bookshelves with many great reading books. They will have the option to do their work while laying or sitting on the floor using the portable desk stands! This is going to help students to be more engaged and they are going to be so excited!
