This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We're growing our school athletic department by providing addition opportunities to basketball. This will provide more opportunities for more students. We're expanding our athletic program and providing quality and safe equipment for our teams.

Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds and have a passion for athletics.

For some students this will be their first experience participating in a team sport.

The new equipment will encourage more participation by our students. More students can be engaged in practice with the additional equipment.

My Project

The volleyball team will be receiving new volleyball, which they are in need of. The cart will hold the volleyball for storage and be used during practice and games.

This will provide quality and safe equipment for our sports teams.

Students that participation in team sports build skills of team work, leadership, pacing, self discipline, self-esteem, problem solving, community involvement, and school pride. The equipment will help increase student participation in team sports.

The water cooler will help all teams during practice and games. The basketball will be used for practice and be also be our game ball for competition.
